この声の主が誰であるか、皆さんは知っていますか？
ドナ・バークというナレーターです。最近はテレビなどでも取り上げられているようです。
2003年10月に東海道新幹線品川駅が開業したときに、アナウンスを収録し直す必要があり、この方を採用したようです。JR東海はイギリス人であると最初は思っていたが、実はオーストラリア人であり、わざとイギリス英語のアクセントを使って職を探していたようです。面白い。
2006年早稲田実業高等部 英語大問B でこの話題が取り上げられています。
